Submission Types

When completing the submission form, you will be given the following options:

  • Oral Presentation Preferred
If not accepted for an oral presentation, your abstract will be considered for inclusion in the program as a poster.
  • Oral Presentation Only
If not accepted for an oral presentation, you do not wish to be included in the program as a poster.
  • Poster, with Consideration for the Young Investigator Symposium, trainees only
You are interested in presenting a poster, and would like to be considered for a flash talk during the Young Investigator Symposium held on the opening afternoon of the meeting.
  • Poster Only
You would like to be considered for a poster presentation only.

Young Investigator Poster Competition

In addition to choosing one of the submission options above, young investigators may elect to enter the Young Investigator Poster Competition, with monetary prizes given to the winners.

Young investigators are defined as undergraduates, graduate students and postdocs.

Young investigators who are chosen to present a talk during the main program will be entered into the Oral Presentation Competition. This competition is judged by a select group of attendees and includes monetary prizes for the winners.

Young Investigator Symposium

The Young Investigator Symposium, introduced at the 29th Symposium in 2025, returns in 2027. This half-day event is dedicated to showcasing innovative research by graduate students and postdoctoral scholars in peptide science, giving emerging scientists a platform to share insights, connect with peers, and engage with established experts.

Trainees who would like to be considered for a flash talk should choose that option when submitting their abstract.
